Parent Involvement

Parents play a vital role in supporting their children's involvement in youth sports. They can serve as current or former athletes, coaches, fans, motivators, role models, or even critics.

Studies have shown that family members may have a greater impact on an athlete's participation and success in sports than coaches. This highlights the importance of parent's role in shaping their children's experiences and attitudes towards sports. Parents are the first and most critical agents in introducing children to sports and fostering their interests and skills.

For this reason, we actively encourage parents to be positive and supportive members and to act as role models for their children both on and off the field. Our club also recognizes that parental involvement not only supports the development of our young athletes but also helps to create a positive and supportive environment that benefits the entire team and club as a whole.
