Our Academy Soccer program elevates young talents in the U9 through U10 age groups beyond recreational play and serves serves as the ideal stepping stone as players progress toward our Select Soccer program. Through structured training sessions, competitive opportunities, and a supportive environment, our licensed coaches strive to unlock the full potential of each player, fostering not just athletes, but also individuals who embody teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication.


Our program places a strong emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship, facilitating both soccer growth and personal development. Participants from neighboring communities are welcome to join our ranks and unleash their potential.

  • There are no tryouts for Academy Teams. We do request that parents and players understand the higher level of commitment that will be expected before registering. 

  • The age range is U9 - U10 as determined by the player's birth year. Teams will be formed on a first come first serve basis. PlymouthSC reserves the right to withhold fielding a team at which time registration fees will be refunded and opportunities will be made available at the Rec level.

  • Cost per player is $225 which includes the Fall and Spring Season. Each team will participate in festivals which is included in that cost. 

  • Uniform Fees are in addition to player fees, and the responsibility of the family to purchase. Players will be provided with purchasing instructions at an initial team meeting. 

  • Any travel and lodging costs incurred are not covered by the player fees.

What Can I Expect with Training:

Academy Soccer players can expect high-quality training sessions tailored to their age and talent. The program's coaches use pre-planned sessions that have been reviewed and approved by the Club's Director of Coaching and Player Development to ensure they align with the needs and goals of the players.


Academy Team training typically takes place 2-3 days a week, depending on the game schedule, providing ample time for players to work on technical and tactical skills and physical fitness. 


Coaching

In our Academy team program, the coaching staff is expected to meet high professionalism and expertise. They are required to hold appropriate coaching licenses and receive ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest coaching techniques and strategies. Academy Team coaches are expected to continuously study and improve their skills to provide their players with the best possible coaching experience. 


Cost

Participation in our Academy team program costs $225. This is due to the additional expenses associated with participating in festivals and a WYSA-sanctioned league.


* Players placed on Academy teams will have additional costs associated with the purchase of uniforms from our partner, NewGen Sports.


We understands that this is a significant investment. We encourage parents to consider the value of this investment in terms of player development, team-building opportunities, and the chance to compete at a higher level.

Game Schedules

Academy teams participate in the Fall and Spring seasons, playing 8 games in each season. They will play half of the games at home at the QQO complex and away throughout the Southeast Wisconsin region. They can also participate in festivals consisting of up to 3-4 games during the weekend.
